Making A Difference
Our Mission
One Step at a Time
Men and women sign-up to serve and protect our country. They risk their lives and fight for our freedom while working incredibly hard to keep us safe. Upon coming back home they often have trouble navigating and using the very complex VA system. The forms that are required and people to talk to can be overwhelming. Sometimes vets are wrongfully denied claims they have earned. We think that's wrong and this is where VGA defines its mission and purpose.
With your help, we connect all of the dots needed to get your claim through the system as fast as possible so you can begin receiving your benefits in a more timely manner.

Claims Processing Support
Helping The Community
We offer FREE medical research to veterans applying for their benefits. The review and researching of all the records are done by our professional and HIPPA compliant, trained medical staff.
We also work with local attorneys when a claim gets denied or goes into what is called an Appeal 9 process. If the veteran is dissatisfied with the VA decision the introduction is made to our attorney and we move from there.
The VGA is fully compliant with all HIPPA guidelines regarding your personal information.
Have YOU Served?
Reinforcing our Commitment
Have you served in the military? If so, you are a Veteran and are entitled to certain benefits.
We help Veterans navigate through the complicated VA system and we will not stop until you get what you have earned and were promised.

We assist Veterans in getting all of their personnel and medical records so that they can apply for "Veteran's Disability Compensation" which, once approved, they will receive on a monthly basis.

Veterans Claims
Information You Need
The DD form 214, Certificate of Release or discharge from Active Duty, generally referred to as a DD214, is a document from the United States Department of Defense which is issued to all service members.
We assist in getting your DD214 as well as personal medical records from any and all branches you served in as well as records from private doctors.
Various forms are needed at different stages of the claim process and we will assist you with retrieving and filling them out. These records have important information in them and they may hold the evidence needed to help prove your claim.

Denied Claims or Process of Appeal
VA requires new medical evidence once the claim is denied and needs to be appealed. We know exactly which forms are needed and which evidence needs to be presented at the Veterans hearing with his/her representative.
Veterans have 60 days after being denied, to send an "Appeal 9" form. This allows the veteran to appear before the Board of Veterans with their representative. We work with a VA accredited Attorney in this process.
A "21-22A" form needs to be filled out by all parties and submitted. New medical evidence is required by VA to support the case. Having legal help is the best way to go.
Attorney Costs:
No risk for you! The attorney is only paid a percentage from the award if successful.

Laura Diogo-Carreau
President
I am the wife of disabled Marine Veteran and I found that trying to navigate through the VA's forms were not the easiest. With a college education, and many years of medical experience- I could not seem to get the help that I needed to complete my husbands disability claim.
I have learned in the past years which forms are necessary, and their purpose. I have learned that the medical evidence is key to any and all Veterans putting in their claim.
I started this organization back in June of 2015. I am here to work with VA accredited Attorneys when and if the Veterans claim needs to be appealed.

"We recommend VGA to anyone who will listen. Veterans, their spouses and children have benefits they are eligible for".
Please spread the word about this free service to your brothers and sisters who served in our nation's Armed Services. We need everyone to get in touch and use this free service so we can prove our value to those that control our funding. Your participation will make the VGA stronger and more effective so that it will always be here for future veteran's in need of support, like you.
We hope to hear from you and thank you for your support.
